Llandeilo

Llandeilo Station lies below the eastern side of the town, alongside the meandering river Tywi. Llandeilo was once the county town of Carmarthenshire, with woollen and corn mills and is still an agricultural centre.

Perched high above the river, Llandeilo is a charming little town with distinctive shops and eating places. It dates back to the 13th century and is named after the 5th century Saint Teilo.
