The most famous of the mid Wales spa towns, this is the youngest town on the line with perfectly preserved Victorian architecture dating from 1860 to 1930. Around the pleasant Temple Gardens there are many hotels and the Radnorshire Museum. |

Within walking distance along a tree-lined avenue is the lake, beautiful in all seasons. At the lakeside is a craftshop and tearoom, with a play area for children nearby. The Victorian Festival ends here with a huge fireworks display. More information about tourism in Powys is available from the Powys Tourism Web site. |
