Ruth creates a range of items, giving life to old and damaged Welsh Wool Blankets. Shopping bags, pencil cases, coin purses, fabric pots, bookmarks, key fobs aiming to waste as little of the blankets at possible.

Working from a small workshop that overlooks the Cothi Valley, Ruth watches the colours changing throughout the seasons and this is reflected in the other materials used to create the finished pieces.

Ruth only works with natural fabrics where possible, cottons and linens.

Ruth's work can be found in the Cooperative of Crafts Alive  in Llandeilo, a collective of over 40 crafts people, artisans and artists.
